Bambi Hunting?

What is hunting to you? Is it a sport, a pleasure, or just something you do for fun? Many people in the State of Arkansas take hunting as a hobby and sometimes a competition. There are many hunting competitions in Hot Springs Arkansas. Not everyone likes hunting because they don’t like killing animals, or as my grandmother would put it “murdering innocent creatures of the Lord.”
In Arkansas there’s different types of hunting, for instance, there is deer hunting which starts Nov 13 – Dec 15, dove hunting which starts Sep 4 - Oct 19 and Dec 11 – Jan 5 , duck hunting season dates are from Nov 20 - 28, Dec 7 - Jan 17 and Jan 22 - 30,etc…Hunting is said to be fun and a great way to make unforgettable memories. Hunting is one of the State’s favorite “hobbies” almost everybody goes hunting. Many people even take off work and school just to go out of town and hunt. They are gone for hours, days and in some cases even weeks. Hunting season starts on November of every year and it ends around March.
Most of us at one time or another have flipped through the pages of our favorite hunting magazines or browsed the pages of our favorite hunting websites and commented to ourselves on how “lucky” some of the feature hunters were to have harvested such tremendous animals. And for some of those hunters luck was indeed on their side. For others, though, luck had nothing to do with it. Hunting is all about having fun and staying safe.
All in all, hunting in the state of Arkansas is a hobby and a competition; though many of us enjoy hunting it doesn’t exactly mean everyone else likes it. Some people think hunting is a way of destroying our state “The Natural State.” Many even argue that if this state is natural then why kill the wild life in it? But of course hunters and those who enjoy it aren’t trying to hear that. Hunting is a very fun and enjoyable sport in Arkansas.
